Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how GAVAPRO LLC ("we", "us") handles information in connection with GAVAPRO Social Publisher (the "Application"), a self-hosted social media publishing tool available at https://social.gavapro.com. The Application is used only by staff and partners authorised by GAVAPRO LLC to manage social media accounts that GAVAPRO LLC owns or administers.
1. Who we are
GAVAPRO LLC is a Florida limited liability company located at 12849 SW 243rd St, Princeton, FL 33032, United States. We are the controller of the data processed by the Application. Questions and requests can be sent to privacy@gavapro.com.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information received from social media platforms
When an authorised user connects a social media account (for example a Facebook Page, Instagram professional account, TikTok account, LinkedIn page, YouTube channel, Pinterest account or X account), the platform provides us, through its official API and with the user's consent, with:
- an access token that allows the Application to publish on behalf of the account;
- the account or page identifier, display name, username and profile picture;
- basic statistics about published content, such as views, likes and comments, where the platform makes them available.
2.2 Information created in the Application
- Posts, captions, images and videos that users draft, schedule or publish.
- Account information for Application users: name, email address and a password hash.
- Technical logs required to operate and secure the service, including IP addresses and timestamps.
We do not collect information about the followers or audiences of connected accounts beyond aggregate statistics returned by the platforms.
3. How we use information
We use the information above solely to:
- publish and schedule content to the connected accounts as instructed by our users;
- display the status and performance of published content;
- operate, secure and troubleshoot the Application.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use platform data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to managing the connected accounts. Our use of data received from Meta platforms complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies; our use of data received from TikTok complies with the TikTok Developer Terms. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Sharing of information
We share information only in the following cases:
- with the social media platform to which content is being published, as necessary to publish it;
- with infrastructure providers that host or protect the Application (our own servers, and Cloudflare, Inc. for network security), who process data on our behalf and under our instructions;
- when required by law or to protect our rights, safety or property.
Platform data is never disclosed to third parties for their own purposes.
5. Storage and security
The Application runs on servers owned and controlled by GAVAPRO LLC in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are accessible only to the Application. Administrative access requires strong authentication and is limited to authorised personnel.
6. Data retention
- Access tokens are kept only while an account remains connected and are deleted when the account is disconnected.
- Drafts, scheduled and published posts are kept until deleted by a user or until the associated account is disconnected.
- Technical logs are kept for no more than 90 days.
7. Your choices and rights
Users can disconnect a connected account at any time inside the Application, which deletes its access token. Access granted to the Application can also be revoked from the platform itself, for example under Facebook Settings > Business Integrations, Instagram Settings > Apps and Websites, or TikTok Settings > Security > Manage app permissions. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data we hold, contact privacy@gavapro.com. Full instructions are on our Data Deletion page. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
8. Children
The Application is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated to Application users.
